This tool displays an entire states eligibility data. Areas eligible to host feeding sites, as determined by the USDA, appear in green on the map, with darker shades indicating a higher estimated number of children under 18 that are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. Areas eligible by calculation are shown in orange, with darker shades representing a higher estimated number of children under 18 that are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. The tool also has the ability to show last year's summer feeding sites and an overlay of areas the USDA considers rural for the summer food service program. (SFSP 04-2024, SP 06-2024).
