This tool displays an entire states eligibility data. Areas eligible to host feeding sites, as determined by the USDA, appear in green on the map, with darker shades indicating a higher estimated number of children under 18 that are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. Areas eligible by calculation are shown in orange, with darker shades representing a higher estimated number of children under 18 that are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. The tool also has the ability to show last year's summer feeding sites and an overlay of areas the USDA considers rural for the summer food service program.
